Because i LOVE MY FRIENDS BEYOND BELIEF and i’m assuming you do too. So here’s some stuff you can do for them as a witchy mom friend. (note: this is all for care & helping, not manipulation. let them do what they want, just be there to help them if it goes wrong)
Enchant wearable gifts to help your friend (s) stay safe & happy
Use kitchen magic on anything you bake for them, or even just while you’re grabbing snacks or making tea
Put a spell on your friends’ cars so that it doesn’t start/they don’t drive it while drunk
The moon will be your best friend tbh she understands you. Let her help & guide, meditate on her energy (also 10/10 for empaths & water-associated witches)
Make your friends spell jars to help them sleep, drive safe, start their day well, remember to take care of themselves– anything, really
Draw sigils for healing on your friends arms or backs with your hand while comforting them during an emotional time
Use simple phrases as incantations to be sure your friends consider your suggestions and advice
Wrap them in protection each time you give them hugs (visualize a bubble surrounding them)
Open your energy field to them, so you always seem inviting and safe to talk to
Make cards with protective magic in them for birthdays, holidays, or just to show your appreciation. Charge them with LOVE
Gift them heads up pennies to pass on good luck to them
Offer to cleanse/clear any jewelry or other items that ghey wear or keep with them daily
Help them clean their house or room! It’ll help clean negative energies out too
Enchant their blankets to keep them feeling warm (not just phsyically okay yes i know that’s what blankets are for), safe, and loved
Braid/play with their hair & let lots of positive, loving, peaceful energy flow
Enchant/charm their glasses (or sunglasses) to help them see clearly what people’s true intentions are, truth in a situation, etc
Place a charm, enchantment, or glamour spell on their mirrors so they’re always feeling GOOD and CONFIDENT because they deserve it!!
Make coffee for them w/ ingredients and charged energy that tailors to their specific needs at the moment (like for me vanilla = love, cinnamon = energy, etc) or teas with herbs that do those things (safely & if you know they can, of course)
Make sachets for specific purposes that they can carry around! Add herbs, sigils, crystals, salt, whatever it needs (and a whole lotta love)
Light a pink candle with their initials carved into it to send them feel good vibes
Wear colors around them that make them feel happy, calm, loving, peaceful, etc
Gift them plants to keep them company
Help them put wards and protection on their home, or ask their permission to do it
Leave a slip of paper with a “drive safely” sigil in their car where the sun can charge it. Make it activate when the car starts
Enchant their pens to give them success at work, speed and accuracy doing bills, etc

I love how they left out the part about them giving out the lesbian couple’s personal information to send them death threats, running them out of their home, and encouraging other fundies to petition to have their children taken away. **examines fingernails**
Also the fact that they raised half million dollars from other raging homophobes to fund this bigotry. I hope the dickholes lose the shirts off their backs and have to live out of a van. But that’s too much to hope for.
I just wanna add that the lesbian couple were getting married because their mutual friend had just died of cancer and they were adopting her two daughters… and that the death threats were so bad that they had to quit their jobs and move.
it’s never just about a cake. it’s about the precedent you set when you allow ppl to discriminate. it’s about all the disgusting bigots that crawl out of the woodwork when they feel like they have the right to hate.
I still can’t get over the fact that Snape was considered more of a hero then Regulus Black who basically died at the age of 18 to bring down Voldemort single handedly and it actually makes me cry that Reggie is forgotten by a lot of people. Regulus Black didn’t die for you guys to label Snape as the Slytherin hero.
