It’s worth saying that this flag wasn’t the official flag of the Confederacy. If you want to see other flags that might be subtly used as hidden logos of Confederate support (I’ve seen them recently, and they go unnoticed by most because no one knows the true flags) you can review them here. If you should see one of the other flags being used as a covert symbol, you can rip it off too.

When I see this flag it makes me shake my head, because it is an overt symbol of the kind of ignorance and reckless disregard of knowledge that makes racism possible. They don’t even know their own history and rewrite it as they move along, out in the open, where everyone can see.
