I remember a dinner conversation with extended family over Christmas, where it was introduced (by me, with Planet Earth 2′s pigeon-guzzling catfish scene fresh in mind) that Fish should not eat Birds, because those are (subjectively) lower lifeforms preying upon higher ones. we went on to agree that Humans can consume anything but Cetaceans, Primates, and Cats, while Angels can (morally) eat Humans, and God can eat Angels.
I disliked this hierarchy because it implied Angels had the right to eat Cats, so suggested placing Cats above God to make them morally inedible. after this I excused myself to the bathroom, and when I came back they were talking about yoga.
