Hi y’all, I’m here asking for your help once more.
I
decided to make a new post, as I was afraid that if people saw the old
one, they would assume it was just the same post going around again, and
wouldn’t be aware that my situation hasn’t improved.A little bit ago I made a post explaining why i’m currently in dire straits. Here’s a recap on our story:
Without
too much detail, my husband, who’s getting his green card and is
undocumented, has run into some serious legal troubles. I’m really
afraid he’s been put on an ICE shortlist of people to be out patrolling
for. In itself this would be terrifying for any new mother dependent on
her husband for financial means, but this extra level of legal problems
has put an incredible amount of stress on our family and its quick
reconciliation would go a long way to help all of us, including my one
year old son.At
the present time I’m still not able to go back to work full time as
much as I would like to right now – I was fired from my low wage serving
job a few months ago because I was taking medically necessary breaks to
pump breast milk for my son. Management was contantly harassing me
about this, and I was ultimately let go because they had trouble
covering my breaks. I’m recovering from postpartum depression and PTSD
right now. This puts added stress on an already very serious financial
tight spot. My husband works in the restaurant industry, but it has been
incredibly slow these last few months, and it also seems to be slowing
down as we go into the holiday seaon. We are struggling to get our bills
paid every month, but legal bills are now totaling $5,000 as well as
rent and utilities reaching $1,800 a month, we really are at the end of
our rope.I’m
just asking for anything at all to help at this point. Any single
contribution you make no matter how small will be so so appreciated by
not just me but my entire family. Anything that you can give, whether
money or baby supplies or whatever will be incredibly helpful during
this rough spot.I

few gift cards so we can buy groceries, items for the baby and whatnot,
if you feel more comfortable doing thatI REALLY don’t want to do this again but I have to push my pride aside because we really need some help.
We are short $300 on our rent which is due tomorrow and we have a 1 year old we need to take care of.
I have already sold every item that might be work money that I can to make up what we are missing for rent money. I don’t have anyone to ask for the difference, otherwise I would have. It’s literally just me, my husband and our one year old. I just really don’t know what else to do. Please help if you can.
