honestly if ur an introvert ur probably better off befriending some extroverts bc having a whole squad of introverts is fine at first but eventually you end up never doing anything with them ever especially after you finish school bc ur all fine being loners and low maintenance friends that just tag each other in memes and snapchat each other which is nice but sometimes i wanna leave my house instead of binge watching spongebob squarepants you need balance in ur squad you need to have people who are gonna motivate the squad to be social
every squad needs at least one friend who will pull their car up outside and scream “get in losers we’re going to the mall”
Why do people hang out in malls?
It’s fun to window-shop, sometimes they have cafes
also: there’s air conditioning, they will tolerate groups of teenagers hanging around for extended periods and chatting noisily without necessarily even spending money, sometimes they have movie theaters
Different but somewhat related: make sure there’s at least one person in your regular group who can make decisions. If you have five people all trying not to make anyone else unhappy, then you’ll never do anything. If you have trouble with this: when someone tells you they don’t care, believe them. If they then go along with your plan while secretly seething that you didn’t read their mind, then either you’re friends with a five-year-old or it is absolutely not your problem.
